Amazing Animation

One of our Learn Create, Share activities for Maori language week was to animate a popular myth to share with others.  Well done Cam and Beau you did a great job!

Exploring Citizenship

How to be a considerate member of a community has been our focus for this topic.  We have explored an acronym for standing up to and not accepting bullying.  Thanks girls for presenting it in such an eye catching way.

Cross Country

We have been learning to describe a special moment in time instead of recounting the whole days events.  Charlotte wrote a detailed description after being caught in the rain training for the cross country.  I love how you have highlighted some of your adjectives and verbs.

Matariki Celebrations

We have been reading about Matariki this week and have been choosing ways to show our learning and celebrate the Maori New year.

We read about Moriori children on the Chatham Islands.  They wrote a paragraph about their special places so we did too.
